PERL Programming [UXP-P2]
Duration: 3 days
- Audience:
- Anyone needing to read or write PERL scripts of simple to medium complexity.
Participants may come from a DOS/Windows or UNIX environment.

- Description:
- PERL (Practical Extraction and Reporting Language) is well known for its power and ease
of use. It is used extensively by programmers, system administrators and end-users to
automate tasks, manipulate data and implementing HTML applications.

- Prerequisites:
- The participant need not be an experienced programmer, but familiarity with C language
or shell programming is beneficial. The participant must already be familiar with the
environment in which the class is taught (i.e. UNIX or Windows). For the UNIX environment,
participants can acquire the prerequisite knowledge by attending the EduCorp Introduction to UNIX course.
