Linux Internals [UXI-L2]
Duration: 5 days
- Audience:
- Linux system administrators and support people who need a comprehensive understanding of
the workings of the Linux kernel, application developers who need to write code that
interfaces with the Linux kernel and systems programmers writing kernel extensions.

- Description:
- Through the examination of source code and header files, the participant will trace the
relationship of kernel structures and follow the flow of various algorithms, linked lists
and tables. Optional hands-on exercises plus additional reading assignments will in aid
the student in understanding the Linux kernel.

- Prerequisites:
- A working knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system, including using vi,
navigating file systems and using basic commands plus a basic understanding of the C
programming language. This may be accomplished by taking EduCorps Introduction to Linux, Introduction to UNIX/AIX and Introduction to
C courses or by having equivalent experience.
