- UNIX systems and applications programmers who need to know how to write AIX device
drivers.

- This course combines lectures and hands-on labs to teach the participant how to use the
AIX kernel extensions and services to develop AIX device drivers and also to utilize the
support facilities of ODM, trace and error logging to debug problems.

- Prerequisites:
- An understanding of AIX internals, knowledge of C programming and AIX system calls.
These skills may be acquired by taking EduCorps AIX Internals, and C Programming
courses.
