Duration: 3 Days
- Audience:
- Programmers, and those who have a need to write programs,
in any language, on any IBM eServer. RPG IV application programmers
who use the host-based IBM Application Development Tool Set
(ADTS) products: Program Development Manager (PDM), Source
Entry Utility (SEU), Screen Design Aid (SDA) and are interested
in increasing their productivity by using new workstation-based
replacements tools for PDM, SEU, and SDA
- Description:
- Learn how to use IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client
(WDSC) for the iSeries (IBM's workbench for creating and maintaining
applications). Learn to use CODE Editor, Designer, and Distributed
debugger. Review other features of WDSC. Gain an understanding
of Client setup and functions and the server (iSeries) setup
and functions.
Prerequisites:
You should have prior programming experience in some language.
You should know how to perform basic system operations with
CL commands and describe work management objects.
