- This course introduces the concepts of Oracle9i® network
configuration and database backup and recovery. You will learn
how to configure the Oracle9i network environment to support
connections to and from the database. You will also learn
how to perform backups of the Oracle database using various
techniques and how to recover the database in various failure
scenarios. Finally, you will learn how to load, move, and
reorganize large volumes of data very quickly using Oracle-provided
utilities.

- To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the
following courses or have equivalent knowledge: Oracle Database
Administration [DBA-02] and Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL,
PL/SQL, and SQL*Plus [DBS-02]
