Programming Environment [ASP-P2]

- Audience:
- Programmers, either new to the iSeries, but with some basic
programming skills, or experienced RPG/400 programmers who
want to transition their applications to the ILE environment.
Programmers and application designers responsible for new
applications and for the maintenance of legacy code.

- Learn how to program in the Integrated Language Environment
(ILE), how to manage the environment and your ILE objects.
Design applications using ILE programs and service programs.
Discover the uses and tactics of activation groups and job
management. Understand the Model, View, Controller (MVC) application
design methodology. COBOL or RPGIV versions of the class are
available.
Prerequisites:
Programmers should have experience with OS/400 programming
facilities, and a basic understanding of RPG, COBOL, CL and/or
C programming languages.
