Development Studio Client CODE Tools [ASP-W3]

- Audience:
- Programmers and those who have a need to write programs
in any language on any platform. RPG IV application programmers,
who use the host based IBM Application Development Tool Set
(ADTS) products (Program Development Manager (PDM), Source
Entry Utility (SEU), and Screen Design Aid (SDA)) and are
interested in increasing their productivity by using new workstation
based tools.
- Description:
- Learn how to use IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client
(WDSC) for the iSeries, IBM's workbench for creating and maintaining
applications. Learn to use CODE Editor, Designer, Remote system
explorer, and Distributed debugger. Review other features
of WDSC and gain an understanding of client setup and the
server (iSeries) setup requirements.
- Prerequisites:
- You should have prior programming experience in some language.
You should know how to perform basic system operations with
CL commands and describe work management objects. These prerequisites
can be met through successful completion of Operations Workshop
I and iSeries Programming Facilities courses, or equivalent
working knowledge.
