V5 Beginning Programming [ASP-R1]
Duration: 4 days
- Audience:
- Technicians familiar with other programming languages and
need to learn RPG IV coding principles.
- Description:
- Review the basic features and functions of RPG IV for Version
5. Develop and maintain simple RPG IV programs using features
and function available in the Version 5 compiler. This workshop
gives experienced programmers unfamiliar with RPG, the skills
required to write simple interactive and batch programs using
free format RPG IV. [SCC]
- Prerequisites:
- Attendees should know how to use iSeries programming facilities
such as PDM and/or CODE/400. Students should have attended
the iSeries Programming Facilities Workshop (CRS2). Attending
the OS/400 CL Programming Workshop (CRS3) would also be helpful,
but not required prior to attending this class.
