Through
hard work and dedication, Sue put herself through college. After
graduating from Southern Illinois University in 1975 with dual
degrees in mathematics and psychology, Sue was asked by the
mathematics department to accept a teaching position while completing
graduate studies in mathematics.
Following her husband's transfer, Sue re-located to the Dallas
area and began a project for the City of Irving, supervising
the automation of their library system. She also accepted
an adjunct faculty position with Brookhaven College, teaching
computer science classes in the evenings. After the successful
completion of the automation project, Sue accepted a position
with Core Laboratories/Western Geophysical, supervising the
engineering technicians and managing the data processing requirements
of the US engineering division. When Core Lab decided to re-locate
to the Houston area, Sue opted to take a position with IBM.

At IBM, Sue supported the corporate financial operations,
gaining expertise with a variety of hardware, software and
operating systems. While working at IBM, Sue completed her
MBA in MIS and graduated with honors from the University of
Dallas. Additionally, she authored a number of technical articles
and papers. Upon IBM's decision to enter the Unix market,
Sue was transferred to IBM Education to teach and develop
a series of AIX courses. In 1993, after a successful career
with IBM, Sue took advantage of an early retirement package
to pursue other endeavors. Among them was the establishment
of the technical training and consulting firm, known as EduCorp.
She now holds the position of President and continues to guide
the company and maintain its tremendous growth rate.
Being grateful for her good fortune and wanting to give back
to the community, Sue supports a number of charitable organizations,
and volunteers at a Senior Center, teaching computer classes.
She also gives of her time and expertise as guest speaker
for the University of Dallas' Entrepreneur MBA program and
teaches a Training and Development course at Texas Women's
University in their Executive MBA program.
